TL;DR: Polyform now sends email notifications when forms are submitted. Configure recipients, choose whether to include answers in the email, and set it up per-form in the integrations tab.
#How it works
In any form's integration settings, enable email notifications and add the email addresses that should be notified. When someone submits the form, each recipient gets an email with:
- The form name and submission timestamp
- A link to view the full response in the dashboard
- Optionally, the respondent's answers included directly in the email
#Include or exclude answers
You control whether the actual answers appear in the notification email. Including them is useful for quick triage — you can read the response without opening the dashboard. Excluding them keeps sensitive data out of email, which matters for forms collecting personal information.
#Per-form configuration
Each form has its own notification settings. A lead capture form might notify the sales team, while a bug report form notifies engineering. Recipients, answer inclusion, and other settings are all independent per form.
#Alongside other integrations
Email notifications work alongside Slack, Zapier, and webhooks. You can have all four running on the same form — email for the team lead, Slack for the channel, Zapier for the CRM, and a webhook for your backend.
#Availability
Email notifications are available on all plans. Open any form, go to integrations, and add recipient email addresses.
