TL;DR: Every form response now includes a step-by-step timeline showing which pages the respondent visited, how long they spent on each, and which logic branches they followed. Find it in the response detail view.
#What you can see
When you open an individual response in the dashboard, you now get a full journey timeline:
- Pages visited in order — see the exact path through your form, including any conditional branches taken
- Time per page — how long the respondent spent on each question (helps identify where people hesitate or get stuck)
- Logic paths — which conditional branches were followed and why
- Completion status — whether the respondent finished or dropped off, and where
#Why this matters
Aggregate analytics tell you what happened — 60% completion rate, average 3 minutes. Journey tracking tells you why.
If respondents consistently spend 45 seconds on a question that should take 10, the question might be confusing. If most drop-offs happen after a specific page, that page might be too long or asking for too much.
With conditional logic, journey tracking becomes even more valuable. You can see which branches respondents actually take, helping you verify that your logic is working as intended and that no paths create friction.
#Use cases
- Form optimization — identify which questions cause hesitation or abandonment
- Logic verification — confirm that conditional branches route respondents correctly
- Support debugging — when a respondent reports an issue, see exactly what they experienced
- A/B analysis — compare journey patterns across different form versions
#Availability
Response journey tracking is available on all Pro plans. Open any response in the dashboard to see the timeline.
