The Builder tab is where you create and edit your form. It provides a visual editor for adding questions, organizing pages, and designing the look and feel.
#Adding Questions
Click the + button to add a new question. Choose from 20 question types including text inputs, choices, ratings, date pickers, and more. See Question Types for a full reference.
Each question can be configured with:
- Question — The title respondents see
- Description — Optional text below the question for additional context
- Question type — Change the type at any time from the settings panel
- Required — Mark questions as mandatory
#Pages
Forms are organized into pages. Each page holds one question.
- Reorder pages by dragging them in the page navigator below the canvas
- Use pages together with Flow to create branching logic
#Design
Switch to the Design panel within the Builder to customize your form's appearance. You can adjust the full color palette, fonts, cover image, and more. With Polly AI you can also adjust your theme using natural language. Pro See Theming for a complete guide to design options.
#Welcome and Final Pages
Your form can include:
- Welcome page — An introductory screen shown before questions begin
- Final page — A closing screen shown after submission
The welcome page can be toggled on or off in Settings.
